Industrial Engineering focuses on the design, improvement and integration of systems, products and processes. Our program is designed on a foundation in mathematics, science and engineering basics leading to developing knowledge and understanding of systems modeling and optimization, quality, lean operations, supply chain and human applications in industry, business, health systems, services and government. |

| The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems offers a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering (M.S.I.E.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree with tracks in Engineering Management, Human Engineering/Ergonomics, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Interactive Simulation and Training Systems, and Simulation Modeling and Analysis; and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Industrial Engineering. The Department also offers certificate programs in a variety of areas. Certificate programs offer graduate course work in a flexible format for working professionals to enhance knowledge and professional credentials in a particular specialty area. |
